Apparently, Gov. Palin was called by a Canadian comedian posing as the French President, and she never realized it was a joke.
When Palin was told that the caller could see her as President, she laughed and said, “Maybe in 8 years.”

CNN is reporting that sources within the McCain/Palin camp are becoming frustrated with Sarah Palin for “going rogue” on many of her talks. Her answers to many questions have raised eyebrows among listeners.
One unnamed McCain adviser is quoted as saying,
“She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone. She does not have any relationships [...]
I was surprised to hear that Colin Powell, former Secretary of State, today endorsed Barack Obama. According to an AP article,

I enjoyed the intro to SNL tonight, featuring Sarah Palin. I’ve had a hard time accepting all the mocking of politicians that our society has embraced, but I am thinking that an approach of showing willingness to laugh at oneself is a good thing.
